Call from SS

surprise surprise no brick works started yet, My SS called and said the following.

“I have some bad news you now the car that got burnt behind catholic collage on the weekend?….. well that was the brickies car and all his tools were in it. now he is trying to get a bridging loan to get new tools while he waits for his insurance claim to come through. So he wont be able to start bricking your house till next week.”

Well this all sounds far fetched and makes me feel unconfutable. I would prefer to have been told there has been a delay and the brickwork can’t start till next week. I would prefer a simple date that's achievable than all the stories/excuses.

On another note the works inside the house have continued behind locked doors. Looking through the window last night i could see that i have kitchen cupboards and island. I could also see all the internal doors stacked in a pile in the lounge room ready to be fitted today.
