Walk Through

Well the bad weather has kept progress to a minimum.

We had a walk through with our SS on Monday, He handed over the house to his replacement SS has he is moving on from Metricon to his own business.

This is a bit of a blow as he has been very easy to talk to and seemed to have been delivering a quality job on the hole.

hopefully the new SS will kept things moving and get it finished for us.

Talking to our old SS he said that most things are booked in to take it to completion.

Carpet is due on Thursday.
Oven and last bit of lighting on Friday.
Brick work still needing to be completed in a few areas (backside of garage opening, Bricked header course on portico poles and some works around the exposed rafters that didn’t go high enough.) will be done ASAP weather permitting.
Cladding above the Portico windows is waiting on the brick work completion.
The brick work clean down is waiting on the trades man he has hurt his hand.
Painting of the Portico cladding and celling, Alfresco celling, garage interior, front door, portico windows, exposed rafters, and garage external door is waiting on chippy’s completing the cladding mentioned earlier.
Mirrors due on Friday.
Shower Screens due on Friday.

After that there is only the “Window service” provided by southern star windows to trim off and test all windows and sliding doors.

Clean the house ready for hand over.

Our new SS has said that he should be able to give us a indication of a possible handover date next Monday when we see’s how much manages to get done this week.

Progress Update

The Floor boards are fully installed.

The internal door handles are installed.

The alfresco eves are plastered.

The Rain box on the side of the garage has been installed

Some of the cladding above the facade windows have been worked on

Traveling along now. The flooring is set to go in on Monday I can’t wait to see it.

Also hanging to see the brickwork get washed down.

Is this normal i would have expected to see some gravel levelling this out and pavers not plastic things.

Flooring is supposed to go under dishwasher so i guess this will be coming back out.

Progress Update

Well on last nights drive by the following has been done

Almost completed the storm water hook-ups and levelled out the front yard.

Installed the Cooktop in the Kitchen.

Installed the dishwasher.

Cut the holes to install the lighting in the Portico and Alfresco after painting.

Spa Pump Install Fail!

Ok so this looks SHIT! why did it have to be part of the window sill! Surly there was a better install option than this!
