Progress Update

I went past the block last night and the frame for the garage walls had been added and the kitchen was standing up rather than leaning against a wall in the living room.

Plus a lot of temporary cross braising had been added to support everything in preparation for the roof trusses to arrive. The issue in the toilet had been fixed. The parts that were in the backyard were actually the garage walls.



I checked the plan and the portico design shows that the bricked piers are pine beams encased in bricks. No sign of these yet.

Strangle the windows had been delivered and are in the back yard. Our SS had said they weren't due to arrive until next week? i hope they don't get stolen or damaged. At least the timber frame windows for the front of the house weren't there.

 i think these are for the bricked piers of the alfresco. They are currently sitting in the back yard were the alfresco will go.

 This is the only imperfection i have seen so far. the wall in the toilet is not directly over there markings on the slab.

Shouldn't the piers connected to the slab in some way? i.e Rio?

 Nothing coming out of them?

Waffles and reo delivered

Went by the block waffles and reo delivered. the base has been screened and the black plastic laid.
