Had a quick look at the house progress tonight. The tile support timbers are all up and the tiles are in small piles on the roof ready to be spread around tomorrow. The weather forecast for tomorrow is for 17 degrees and sunny so hopefully at least some the house will have some weather protection.
Interesting that there is no scaffolding on the front of the house and the tiles are piled out there making me think that they aren't going to put any up.
Hi Clint, good news, they'll probably have the roof almost done by lunchtime. They don't usually use scaffolding on single storey dwellings. Worst case scenario if you've gone for the 2700mm ceilings they may use edge protection if the total work height is over 3m otherwhise OHS just requires a safe fall zone around the building.
ReplyDeleteYep i pushed the ceiling height up. I can't remember what it went to off the top of my head.
ReplyDeleteThey put the front guard rail up a day later
