My SS called to give a progress update.
He said that because the rain head section above the garage panel lift door hadn’t been completed and we had a lot of rain over the weekend the plaster in some of the garage will be replaced as its now damaged.
He said that the heating and cooling ducts have been installed.
He asked if we would like the spar bath pump tucked around the back of the ensuite instead of on the front of the house like the plan has it. I said yes but now thinking about it would have been hidden by my planned front gate/fence just behind the meter box. O well it wont really matter.
He said the flooring will go into the house on Monday week. after the slab is sanded! They sand concrete really?
I asked about the gapes around some of the windows and he said when “Sothern Star Windows” come and do the window service they will bring flashing material that they use to dress of the windows with. So everything will look perfect after that happens.
I asked about the BBQ gas point. He said he will chase it up but said its not to hard to install they just push it down from the roof inside the wall.
I forgot to ask about the finish of the brick work on the backside of the garage opening. But by the sounds of it will be getting re placed there so they may bring the plaster a tad lower to cover that top course.
