I received a call to say that the contract is on track and will be available on Monday to sign.
Getting excited now! can't wait to start.
I plan to upload daily progress photos of the build.
Should i try take a photo from the same spot each day so i can do a time laps thing at the end and have an animation of it getting built?
were would you recommend to take that from? dead center out the front?
I will need to take an empty lot start photo. hehe :)
That's great news ! Hope there's no more delays.
ReplyDeleteGood idea to take it from the same spot, ideally on a tripod if you have one so you can make sure it's the same height too...
ReplyDeleteWould make for a great slide show at the end where you can build the house in just a few minutes :-)
I would take it from off centre, so you can see what's going on down the back of the house as well.
Also, talking about photos, good idea is once it's at frame stage and they've done the electrical and plumbing rough in, go and take pics of all the walls with wires and pipes in them. That way in 2 years time when you decide to hang that plasma TV in a room that shares the wall with the bathroom you know whether they're any plumbing or wiring in the wall you're like to hit...
We did this on the last house we built, proved a big help later when hanging pictures etc on the wall as you don't really want to put a nail through the plumbing, and these days, using poly plumbing pipe you probably wouldn't notice until it started leaking out of your walls.
Enjoy....
